Kent P. Woods
Managing Attorney
Kent assists multi-generational businesses with all aspects of their development and planning, from creation transition planning. In that capacity, Kent has closed hundreds of millions of dollars worth of real estate and corporate acquisitions and sales, with complexity ranging from simple land deals to multi-million dollar stock sales. Kent takes particular pride in developing long-standing relationships with clients that consider him a friend and advisor. His work specializes in developing tax-driven solutions for business planning, estate planning, trust administration, and transactions.
Kent began his career as an associate in the Insolvency and Restructuring department of Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP in New York City. He returned home to Las Vegas to work with his father, R. Glen Woods. Following Glen’s death, Kent formed his own firm to carry on Glen’s work and legacy.
Kent graduated magna cum laude, Order of the Coif, from Washington & Lee University School of Law in 2008, where he was awarded the Roy L. Steinheimer, Jr. Commercial Law Award. Kent received his a B.A. in English, magna cum laude, from Brigham Young University in 2004.
Kent was raised in Las Vegas and graduated from Green Valley High School. He has helped local philanthropists and artists form tax-free charities to improve the Las Vegas Valley. He raises English bulldogs (which can occasionally be found at the office) and enjoys board games and training muay thai.
Veronica Lee
Operations Manager
Veronica is an experienced accountant and paralegal, who oversees accounting for trusts and entities ranging from simple to massive. Prior to joining legal practice, Veronica worked as a stockbroker for Prudential and an accountant for a large local real estate developer and property management company. She is also an accomplished singer who performs regularly throughout Las Vegas.
Glen Woods
The Man Who Made It Possible
Until his death in 2018, Glen Woods was one of the leading tax and estate planning practitioners in the United States. Glen was proud of his client relationships and often noted that his very first client remained a client until the end. He is missed.
